TPG Telecom Expands Warehouse to Make Way for Training Improvements and Bigger Opportunities

You may not have heard from us in a little while, but we’ve been keeping busy growing and improving our company. Earlier this year we expanded our warehouse space to better support our increased workload and make room for advancements to our tower tech training program.

Located in central PA our warehouse building includes upgraded office space, warehouse storage with a fully stocked supply room, and a bay for fleet maintenance. It also houses our training room that contains an operable mock cell site comprised of antennas, RRHs, diplexers, and communication rack. This setup allows our instructors to properly train techs on correct job standards as well as troubleshooting practices. Over the last several months we have been making enhancements to the space with fresh paint, additional training equipment, and we’re currently in the process of expanding again. When we’re done, the warehouse will have about 7500 sq. ft. of space.

Outside the warehouse, we have begun constructing our training tower which will be a permanent fixture at our Richland location. The tower is used for the practical portion of the Comtrain course in which tower techs are certified in tower safety and rescue. The warehouse rooftop is used as well for our newly developed Rooftop Safety Course. All of these improvements to our home location enable our crews to receive frequent training refreshers and stay ready to work.
