Construction Manager (Salary Based on Experience)

Must maintain and enforce the TPG safety program, ensure daily job site safety plans are reviewed and followed, and stop work when unsafe work practices or conditions exist.

Must have a strong working knowledge of the telecommunications industry, specifically AT&T and T-Mobile cell site construction of GSM, UMTS, LTE, 5G, and Microwave projects.

Must have a good understanding and experience of Construction and Material/BOM Management and will be required to work with multiple departments.

Will be responsible to schedule, track, measure, and report daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly progress to key stakeholders

Job Responsibilities

• Frequent and/or extended travel to company job/work sites.
• Provide technical support and guidance to project on-site groups.
• Support coordinating subcontract work.
• Support implementation of a site.
• Administer execution of subcontracts.
• Monitor construction quality control.
• Monitor day-to-day activities of the construction site.
• Support maintaining the site construction schedule.
• Monitor subcontractor delivery of subcontract scope of work.
• Perform document inspections and audits; identify non-compliance and version control issues.
• Support processing of subcontract change control documents such as Requests For Information, Field Change Requests, and Back-charge Notifications.
• Execute procurements and contract administration of construction site services and utilities.
• Maintain subcontract correspondence and records on sites/offices for which responsibility has been given and perform analysis on project controls metrics.
• Monitor construction activities for compliance with contract terms and work with subcontractor personnel to promote safe and effective site operations.

Job Requirements

• Two (2) year college or vocational training in area of construction specialty plus two years of relevant experience
• Minimum of five (5) years of wireless construction experience required
• A valid drivers license is required
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required
• MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required
• Day, night and weekend work in support of project completion is required
• Active OSHA-30 Certification or greater is preferred
• MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL
